FULL MOON TIPS

Today is the Full Moon
also known as the Full Sturgeon Moon, Full Red Moon, Green Corn Moon, or Grain Moon
The moon is in Aquarius and that means politics, science, invention, technology, and friendship are the areas of full focus and attention. (and also the topics over which emotions are likely to get full blown.) We will see some great humanitarian efforts, but unfortunately, Aquarius is also the sign of emotional detachment and results in a callousness to individual suffering. The following is reccommended ritual for this day.


Tips for technology: Place a double terminated quartz crystal and/or a Greek or Turkish Eye next to your computer to avoid any kind of malfunction. If you don't have either of these items on hand, place a garlic bulb on the desk next to the computer.

Pray for world peace and for humanitarian efforts to be valued more than politicking. You can accompany your prayer with the burning of a white or blue candle, and placing an effigy of George Bush (or any modern day fascist) in your freezer to chill them out.

Burn an orange success candle for stem cell research or any scientific/medical issue you would like to see succeed. You can also wear orange or salmon to increae your creativity or drape orange fabric around a creation or invention to bring it to a successful completion.

Today is the best day to work things out with a friend.
Cherish your friends and spend the FULL day with your best ones!!

Lady Venus (Lexa) was pleased to teach an astrology workshop
and thanks all the wonderful folks who participated.














The Beltane is one of the Great Sabbats of the
Witches and Pagans and is celebrated on May 1.




























Faires, nymphs, gnomes, elves, wee ones, and even belly dancers LOVE the MAY!















Worshipers sing and dance while wrapping ribbons around the maypole. The May Pole symbolizes the Phallis. Originally, ribbons were red and white to symbolize the blood of the Virgin.














In modern times, ribbons of all colors are used. Nowadays the ribbon color symbolizes the color you wish to weave into your life for the year.















This time marks the fertility of the earth. A May Queen and King are chosen as representatives of the God and Goddess.





























Sometimes those "gods" need to be tied down so they don't run away!





It was a great Beltane Celebration
thanks to Copper Cauldron, Nancy Venus and John C.
We ran our ribbons round the maypoles,
danced the Spiral Dance, and jumped the Beltane Fires
for blessing,fertility, creativity, power, and prosperity.

OUTLINE OF TAROT WORKSHOP:

*Lexa will familiarize you with the 22 Trumps and the 56 cards of the minor arcana and show you quick keys for remembering their meanings.

*Learn techniques for properly handling the cards and training the psychic eye.

*Color symbology, numerology, astrology, and kabbalistic links and associations with Tarot will also be explored. You will learn how to tap into the Tarot and its innate wisdom.

*Basic spreads and layouts with be taught.

*In the last half hour, each student will have an opportunity to interpret a spread with help and guidance from Lexa. We will work on eliminating personal blocks and fears as well as correcting patterns of misinterpretation. You will receive an overall toning of the psychic muscles and learn how to make an instant connection with the querant (questioner) making your readings hit the mark.

Beginners and more advanced tarot readers will all benefit from this workshop.
