Today is the Full Moon
also known as the Full Sturgeon Moon, Full Red Moon, Green Corn Moon, or Grain Moon
The moon is in Aquarius and that means politics, science, invention, technology, and friendship are the areas of full focus and attention. (and also the topics over which emotions are likely to get full blown.) We will see some great humanitarian efforts, but unfortunately, Aquarius is also the sign of emotional detachment and results in a callousness to individual suffering. The following is reccommended ritual for this day.
Tips for technology: Place a double terminated quartz crystal and/or a Greek or Turkish Eye next to your computer to avoid any kind of malfunction. If you don't have either of these items on hand, place a garlic bulb on the desk next to the computer.
Pray for world peace and for humanitarian efforts to be valued more than politicking. You can accompany your prayer with the burning of a white or blue candle, and placing an effigy of George Bush (or any modern day fascist) in your freezer to chill them out.
Burn an orange success candle for stem cell research or any scientific/medical issue you would like to see succeed. You can also wear orange or salmon to increae your creativity or drape orange fabric around a creation or invention to bring it to a successful completion.
Today is the best day to work things out with a friend.
